Description
Val Mayerik and Ernie Chan The Savage Sword of Conan #104 Splash Page 29 Original Art (Marvel, 1984). With Queen Zenoria bound before him and her peril looming, the Cimmerian barbarian unleashes his fury, shattering his own restraints the moment his captors learn the name they should have feared all along. From "The Treachery of the Gray Wolf!", this full-page splash was created in ink and wash over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10.5" x 15". Also included is a detached acetate overlay with whiteout and aged production tape, showing a missing piece at the upper-left corner, a tear at the top edge, and creasing. The board presents light toning, discolored production tape and text paste-ups, adhesive residue staining, smudging, corner creasing, and handling wear.
