Description

Todd McFarlane The Incredible Hulk #342 Splash Page 2 Original Art (Marvel, 1988). Only a few issues from McFarlane's run were both penciled and inked by him, and this splash is from that select group! The Leader is gloating about his as-yet-unrealized plan to defeat the Grey Hulk, seen on the large view screen in McFarlane's recognizable style. Ink and marker over graphite and blue pencil on Marvel Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". Slight toning, discolored stat banner and indicia paste-ups, trimmed top edge, pinholes in the corners, tape abrasion on the top edge, editorial notes and whiteout corrections, rippling and staining in the lower left, some ink fading, and handling wear. Signed by McFarlane in the lower margin and in Very Good condition.
