Todd McFarlane and Tony de Zuniga - Original Splash Page Art for Infinity, Inc. #35, page 1 (DC, 1986). We start out this splash page with a mythic presentation of the Justice Society of America, complete with all the original heroes, and it's all gravy from there. Todd McFarlane gives us this larger-than-life take on some of the most beloved of DC heroes from the early days of comics. It's a hero smorgasbord... a veritable who's who of Golden Age greats. McFarlane knows how to throw down a dynamic drawing and Tony de Zuniga keeps the torch burning with his captivating ink work. Overall size is 13" x 20", with an image area of 10.75" x 17". The art contains some limited white-out, and has the original indicia still attached. Liner notes from McFarlane to writer Roy Thomas and inker Tony de Zuniga are particularly interesting. A stellar production by two stellar talents.
