Description

Tim Sale Daredevil: Yellow #1 Splash Page 24 Initial Version Original Art (Marvel, 2001). Presented by Tim Sale as the completed version of the dramatic final page of the issue, this scene was rethought by writer Jeph Loeb and artist Sale for the published page at the time to a more direct boxing stance with Matt Murdock depicted with a leaner physique as he dons the Daredevil costume for the very first time in this origin retelling. The Eisner Award-winning team of writer Jeph Loeb and artist Tim Sale examined the early days of lawyer Matt Murdock in the six-issue series. This page was eventually published in the graphic novel trade paperback, towards the back of the book in the "The Making of a Hero" Q&A section. Ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 9" x 14". Light edge and corner wear. Signed in lower left and it is in Excellent condition.
