Description
Steven Hughes Wizard Presents: Lady Death #1/2 Double Page Splash Pages 3-4 Original Art (Chaos! Comics; Wizard, 1994). Epic double-page splash featuring Lady Death by Hughes! Incredibly detailed image of Lady Death battling Mary Young on a skull-strewn landscape. Hughes' exaggerated vision of the curvy goddess exemplified the "bad girl" art trend from the 1990s. Rendered in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image size of 20.5" x 16". The slightly toned boards have tape on the back where they were conjoined, handling wear, and small tears at the bottom of Page 3 and left edge of Page 4. A small stain in the image area of Page 4.
