Description

Steve Skroce and Rob Hunter Gambit #10 Double Page Spread 6-7 Original Art (Marvel, 1999). Gambit makes a crashing exit, taking a few mercenaries out the window with him on his quest to steal the Momentary Princess -- a technological jewel from the year 2084 containing archival information about human history that the Thieves' Guild, Gambit's adopted family, has been trying to obtain for over a century. Rendered in ink over graphite across two Marvel Comics Bristol boards, the pieces are adhered together with tape on the reverse and along the top and bottom margins, forming a combined image area of 20.5" x 14.75". The bottom section includes a blank space, left for paste-up title and credits (which appear to have been added digitally during production) that contains production notes and perspective lines. Several large creases run through the lower portion of the board, including two 10.5" creases extending from the center bottom to the outer edges. Some smudging and handling wear. Signed by inker Rob Hunter at lower right and in Very Good condition.
