Description

Steve Purcell Fish Police #6 Pin-Up Illustration Original Art and Production Pages Group of 4 (Fishwrap Productions, 1986). Originally intended as the "Next Issue" splash/pin-up page in issue #5, this piece was mistakenly left out. Therefore, series creator and publisher Steve Moncuse published it in this issue as a "Last Issue" pin-up. Purcell is best-known as the creator of his own series Sam & Max, Freelance Police, which spawned both an animated series and a video game. This pin-up represented a very funny story in the series where Gil and the Prawn engage in Demolition Drinking! Crafted in ink and Zipatone over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". Also included are the full-page stat of the Matt Wagner pin-up from this issue, and the two pages of production text stats for the letter's page, "Fanmail from some Flounder?", which includes a letter from John Ostrander (Grimjack, Suicide Squad), and Alex Amado (Nobody). All are in Excellent condition.
