Description
Simon Bisley 2000 AD Program #627 "Slaine: The Horned God Book I" Splash Page Original Art (Robert Maxwell, 1989). Slaine does his best to really "splash up" this fantastic painted page by slinging his blade all over the place. What a lovely blood-splattered mess! The art is fully painted in mixed media on thin board measuring 16.5" x 22", which is in turn affixed to a larger sheet of heavy paper, measuring 20.5" x 25". The inset is pasted on. The board is beginning to separate in the lower left corner; there are a few very minor scratches to the left of Slaine's head, and a tiny spot of damage at the top of the inset; otherwise, the art is in Excellent condition.More information about Simon Bisley.
