    Description

Sergio Aragonés Groo #11 "The Gamblers" Double Splash Page 6-7 Original Art (Image, 1995). Everywhere Groo wanders, he seems to inadvertently leave a swath of destruction! This incredible double-page splash crams more action into two pages than we normally see in an entire comic book -- spend some time checking this out, and you'll see tons of little gags Harvey Kurtzman used to refer to as "eyeball kicks." Sergio Aragonés caught the fancy of comic lovers for years with his in-the-borders comic scribblings in Mad Magazine, and his Groo character, scripted by long-time pal Mark Evanier, has seen worldwide success and acclaim. This opener to the story "The Gamblers" is in ink and blue pencil on two conjoined pieces of bristol, with a combined image area measuring 21" x 15". In Excellent condition.
