Sal Buscema and Jack Abel Captain America #235 Splash Page 17 Original Art (Marvel, 1979). As Captain America falls to his near-certain doom from a Daredevil piloted Bi-plane, a dirigible sails just out of reach in the background. It's an exciting cliff-hanger splash-page ending for the issue to be sure! "Our Pal" Sal Buscema provided the breakdowns which Jack "I didn't get a nickname" Abel inked. The issue also credits "Lanky" Frank Miller as "Watertower Consultant," which, if you were reading Daredevil during that time, kind of makes sense. Produced in ink over blue pencil on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". The first panel has a missing paste-over art correction; however, the original panel art shows through the glue residue. The page is tanned, with handling, wear, and a small production oil stain in the middle. Overall in Very Good condition.
