Robert Crumb Motor City Comics #2 "Lenore Goldberg and her Girl Commandos" Title Page Original Art (Rip Off Press, 1970). Robert Crumb's heroic female revolutionary warrior Lenore Goldberg returns with this second story, which opens with a government committee investigating the events chronicled in Motor City Comics #1. Our heroine finally gives up her anarchist ways and settles down in a commune by the story's end. This first page, signed as "The Old Lefthander," is drawn in ink on board or paper, with an approximate image area of 8" x 12". The page is matted and framed with Plexiglas for an overall size of 15" x 19". A cool detail-filled page of prime R. Crumb art! Other than minor paper toning and a few flyspeck stains in the outer borders, the condition is Excellent. From the Eric Sack Collection.
