    Description

Richard Case and Mark Badger - Original Splash Page Art for The Doom Patrol #49, page 2 (DC, 1991). A young Englishman named Bobby Carmichael has a recurring dream about a tree with gloves instead of leaves. As he puts on one called the Love Glove, he awakes one morning to discover his arms are missing, but the Glove is on his bed. He can move the Glove telekinetically, as if there were an arm between him and it. A wild, weird splash page for the story, "Death in Venice," brought to you by writer Grant Morrison, penciler Richard Case and inker Mark Badger. The overall page size is 11" x 17" with a 10.5" x 15.5" image area. The work is very clean and includes the original title type and a montage of images at the top. Signed by Richard Case at the bottom edge.
