Mystique holds General Guadier at gunpoint on this double-splash title page... and what a dynamic splash it is! The shape-shifting mutant is seen in the background glass reflection of the Washington D.C. office window that faces the Washington Monument, with the foreground showing a up-close and personal view of Mystique's white boot and a gun barrel bearing down on the frightened officer. Ink over graphite on two conjoined Marvel Bristol boards with a combined image area of 21" x 15.25". Held together by tape on the back, text paste-ups, blue pencil editorial notes/marks, with light staining and handling wear. In Excellent condition.
