Reed Crandall Creepy #7 "Hot Spell!" Splash Page 1 Original Art (Warren, 1966). From the hand of Golden Age great, Reed Crandall, this amazing splash appeared as page 51 in the magazine. The extensive detail on this page is mind-boggling! Trees in the distance, individual shingles, the contents of the pickup, and items in the drug store window are all rendered completely in wonderful realistic style. Ink over graphite with Zipatone on Bristol board with an image area of 13" x 19". Uncle Creepy's head shot is missing from the title bar. The page is overall tanned, has pinholes in the corners, and minor water damage in the bottom right corner. In Very Good condition.
