    Ralph Reese Web of Horror "Tomb Zero" Unpublished 2-Page Splash Original Art Group (Major Magazines, c. 1970). The mag folded after three issues, but a fourth had been assembled, with most of the art eventually finding a home within pages of various fanzines. One that got away was a bizarre "pirates in space" tale that sounds like a real hoot. Long considered lost, here is the original two-page spread by Reese from that story written by Clark Diamond, called "Tomb Zero." The art is in ink and white paint on three pieces of Craftint Duotone board; page one is on two pieces, with approximate image areas of 13" x 17.5" and 4" x 17.5"; page two's image area measures 13" x 17.5". Overall condition is Fair to Good, with areas of staining, creases in the art boards, plus some glue stains and handling wear in the outer borders. Too bad this one never saw print -- it's a real lulu! From The Cracked Vault Collection.
