Peter Snejbjerg Starman #63 Double Splash Pages 22-23 Original Art (DC, 2000). Devastation engulfs Opal City as a roiling sphere of unnatural blackness hangs over the skyline, its ominous presence casting suspicion squarely on the Shade in this sweeping final splash from "Grand Guignol: Deuxième Partie: Friends and Lovers". A tantalizing teaser in the lower right spotlights Thomas Mikaal and Starman (Ted Knight), pointing toward the next chapter of the saga. Ink over blue pencil on two DC Bristol boards with a combined image area of 20.5" x 15.75". Small spot stain, whiteout corrections, light smudging, and blue pencil editorial notes/marks.
