    Description

Paul Pelletier and John Stokes Showcase 95 #2 "Shreddin' Metal!" Splash Page 1 Metal Men Original Art (DC, 1995). This is page 29 in the issue, but page 1 of this story. It is ink with red ink highlights over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". There is a light blue acetate overlay with color-sep effects for the page. It can be viewed online. Signed by Pelletier in the bottom margin. Some production tape and slight tanning, overall in Excellent condition.

    More Information:

The Metal Men had had a fan following from their very first appearance in Showcase #37 in 1962. The sometimes slightly goofy, sometimes misunderstood metals have had many different restarts and re-boots. This is from the era when Doc Magnus, their creator, had been turned into a robot himself. He had become Veridium -- the metal no one knows anything about!
