Description
Paul Chadwick Concrete #8 Pinup Original Art (Dark Horse, 1988). Concrete was one of the most human and touching series to come out of the black and white boom of the 1980s, which is ironic, since the character was trapped inside a concrete alien construct body and had no sense of touch whatsoever. In this issue, he was given permission to trek through the Himalayas in Nepal, provided he string a telecommunications cable along the way. Although dated 1987, this image appears to be a pinup for this 1988 issue. Ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10.5" x 13". Signed in the bottom image area.
