DescriptionNeal Adams and Tom Palmer Amazing Adventures #5 Splash Page 1 Inhumans: Black Bolt, Karnak, Medusa, and Gorgon Original Art (Marvel, 1971). Splash pages just don't get much better than this! It is probably one of the top, most recognizable, images of Black Bolt ever drawn. It was used on a 7-11 Slurpee cup and several other merchandising endeavors. With the Inhumans scheduled for an eventual Marvel movie, and with the Terrigen Mists and other tropes from the series turning up in TV's Marvels Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. so often, it seems likely that the Inhumans are going to be the next hot franchise. Black Bolt is a cosmic 10" x 9.75" on this page. The page is produced in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 14". Signed by Adams in the bottom margin. Tanned with staple holes in the top left corner and minor folds, there is also a small amount of production oil stains on the bottom of the image area. A truly impressive and memorable page in Very Good condition.
