    Description

Neal Adams and Dick Giordano - Original Splash Page Art for Detective Comics #407, page 2 (DC, 1971). Terrific splash page art penciled by luminary artist, Neal Adams, and inked by Dick Giordano. Shocking full page scene for the feature story, "Marriage: Impossible" as Batman unmasks Man-Bat before he can take his bride-to-be. Dynamic, and fluid in Adams' clear and realistic style, which has made his work some of the most sought after and collectible in the marketplace. The overall art size is 10.5" x 15.75" with a 10" x 15" image area. The art is clean and bright, with some pencil smudging along the left edge, but generally amazingly well-kept. A rare opportunity to acquire a sensational piece by a true comic master, whose work increases in value and demand year after year.
