Mike Sekowsky and Bernard Sachs - Justice League of America #25 page 1 Original Art (DC, 1964). The Roll Call for this Justice League of America adventure is listed in bold title-lettering -- Atom, Flash, Green Lantern, Superman, and Wonder Woman -- it's the "A-list!" The Leaguers may have been transformed into crystal beings, but they still fight against villainy wherever they find it! Bernard Sachs was a superb inker for Mike Sekowsky's work, his departure from DC in 1965 was a real loss to the fans. Craig Shutt, in Baby Boomer Comics, wrote, "Whether it was intentional or not, Sekowsky's art, with inking by Bernard Sachs made the JLA just about the most accessible group of heroes you could ask for. Not only were they pretty smart and not overly muscled, probably a good description of most of their fans, but they sat around and talked about their cases!" The image area of this splash is 13" x 17". A title stat at the top of the page has slipped off, and there is some surface wear to the paper; otherwise the art is in Good condition. Everything you need to know can be learned from the Justice League, starting with this sensational splash!
