    Description

Mike Grell and Gray Morrow Green Arrow: The Wonder Year #1 Double Splash Page 2-3 Original Art (DC, 1993). Fans of the TV series Arrow should take note, as is from Ollie's origin story and the whole ship/stranded on an island setting should look familiar to you! It is a truly impressive two page double splash of the yacht sailing, while Oliver watches Howard Hill shoot arrows from the back, with the island in the background. Is is produced in ink, Conte crayon, and Zipatone over graphite on two pieces of conjoined Bristol board with a combined image area of 20.25" x 15.75". Some of the ink has discolored to a greenish hue, which actually works pretty well since it is on the inset image of the sniper on the island. The Zipatone has aged to a golden tone. Mike Grell signed in ink in the image area and then again in the lower margin on the left. Text is paste-up and the pages are in Excellent condition.
