Description
Michael Walsh Rocket Raccoon and Groot #8 Splash Page 1 Original Art (Marvel, 2016). Captain Marvel (Carol Danvers) meets with a group of heroes (and Rocket & Groot) on this opening splash featuring the members of the Guardians of the Galaxy. The shown "Civil War II" allies also include Sasquatch, Medusa, Spectrum (Monica Rambeau), Miss America (America Chavez), Deathlok, Storm, Beast, Puck, Blue Marvel, Maria Hill, and Black Panther [T'Challa]. The artwork is slight changed from the printed page, as Captain Marvel was moved more toward the center later in production. Ink over printed black and blue line on Bristol board with an image area of 9" x 14". Part of Black Panther's leg on the right side is cut and patched with tape on the back.
