Description
Mark Buckingham and Peter Gross Doctor Strange, Sorcerer Supreme #75 Splash Page 32 Original Art (Marvel, 1995). The 1990s were a time of gimmicks, new costumes, character redesigns, and other marketing tactics -- and even the Master of the Mystic Arts wasn't spared. This full-page splash reveals Doctor Strange's new look after he outwits Salome into reclaiming her Elemental fire and purging himself of her contamination. This rendition of the long-locked Doc was created in ink, marker, and white paint over graphite on Marvel Bristol board, with an image area of 10.75" x 15.75". Original art stat paste-up over torso, tape over discolored text paste-ups, spot staining in top margin, minor glue residue staining in image area, and minor corner/handling wear.
