Description
Leonard Kirk and Cam Smith Supergirl #20 Splash Pages 1 and 8 Original Art (DC, 1998). Not only are these two pages the only splash pages in the issue, but they also spotlight both the titular Supergirl and the story's other leading lady -- the reincarnated Cassandra. Page 1 delivers a chilling portrayal of Cassandra, confined to a mental hospital for her supposed delusions, as she envisions a city doomed to fall because no one will believe her warnings. On Page 8, Supergirl confronts the super-sized Cerne, who is en route to destroy the very island Cassandra foresaw in her terrifying vision. These pages from "Things Best Left Forgotten" are rendered in ink over graphite on DC Bristol boards with approximate image areas of 10.25" x 15.75". Stat paste-ups used fir text, title, and indicia. The pages present with adhesive-stained tape in the margins and on the back of the board, as well as whiteout touch-ups. In Excellent condition.More information about Leonard Kirk.
