Description
Leo Durañona Creepy #120 "Deathwatch" Splash Page 2 Original Art (Warren, 1980). Elderly hospital patient Mildred Franks has spent a lifetime in Ward Seven, where every night brings the same visitor -- the silent, patient tread of Death himself. Yet she clings to the edge of life, refusing his cold invitation to the eternal dark. The page features a 10.25" x 15" image area and is constructed from multiple layers. The base consists of art paper with applied printed screentone and areas of white paint. An acetate overlay containing the inked artwork is affixed along the top margin and secured with production tape around the image area. A second vinyl overlay, bearing the title and text paste-ups, is also taped to the top margin and shows marginal tearing and registration tape. Toning, whiteout touch-ups, editorial/production notes, and handling wear. Overall, in Very Good condition.More information about Leo Durañona.
