DescriptionLee Elias Black Cat #17 Splash Page 1 Original Art (Harvey, 1949). Lovely stunt-girl/actress Linda Turner, in costume as the Black Cat, faces a deadly setup in this wonderful Western-themed splash page. It's the first page from the back-up story "Trouble in Death Valley," with both pencils and inks by the great Lee Elias. With a renewed focus on female heroes, thanks largely to the blockbuster Wonder Woman movie, it's only a matter of time before this entertaining series gets the recognition it richly deserves. This page is drawn in ink over graphite on Bristol board, with an image area measuring 12.5" x 18". The "Black Cat" logo is an original production stat. Condition is Good, with minor soiling and handling wear.
