Superman struggles to reach Lois Lane from the pull of quicksand, as Lois is in the clutches of a deadly snake! What a dramatic opening splash for the story "Serpent in Paradise"! Ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". Age-toned, indicia paste-up taped at the bottom, tape residue staining on the edges, stripped-in text correction, held by tape on the back, whiteout corrections, with light handling wear.
