John Byrne Legends #2 Splash Page 1 Original Art (DC, 1986). The villain Macro-Man met a surprising end at the story's close of the previous issue, as Captain Marvel's magic lighting bolt seemed to fry him alive! Horrified, Billy Batson swore to never use his power again. This was a key event to the series as it put Glorious Godfrey's plan in motion. A highly detailed page with a vertigo-inducing P.o.V. created by master draftsman John Byrne for the story "Breach of Faith" scripted by Len Wein and plotted by John Ostrander. Created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 14.5". All text is stat paste-up, with one letter of the title missing. The page is signed by John Byrne in the lower margin. Toned, with a bit of glue residue near the title, it is in Very Good condition.
