John Byrne Fantastic Four #256 Splash Page 1 Original Art (Marvel, 1983). Marvel's First Family stand stoically in this epic opening title splash. Mr. Fantastic, Invisible Woman, Thing, and Human Torch near the end of their long journey through the Negative Zone. A heroic image by Byrne created in ink, marker, and white paint over graphite on Bristol board with an image size of 12" x 17". Slight toning, stat title and discolored credit paste-ups at the top, ink bleed, whiteout corrections, with light handling wear.
