John Buscema and Tom Palmer Avengers #263 and 266 Original Art Group of 3 (Marvel, 1986). Three pages from two different issues. From issue #263 there is page 2 and then Splash/Title page 3 where FBI Agent Freeman asks "What Lurks Below?" Well, as it turns out... it was the resurrection of Jean Grey (Marvel Girl/Phoenix II)! This is the often forgotten first part of that story. It lead into Fantastic Four #286 and then X-Factor #1. In addition, there is page 24 of Avengers #266. This was a Secret Wars II Epilogue issue. The Rocky Mountains had been partially destroyed and that was threatening the stability of the entire planet. This page fixes that up courtesy of Owen Reece, the Molecule Man. Pages are produced in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". John Buscema supplied the breakdowns for Tom Palmer to handle the pencils/inks. Slight tanning, some pages are trimmed on top margins and/or corners. There is handling and edge/corner wear. Overall they are in Very Good condition.
