Description
John Buscema and Joe Sinnott Thor #237 Splash Page 1 Original Art (Marvel, 1975). Donald Blake and Jane Foster share a meal at a restaurant, but their minds are on far more weighty (and Asgardian) matters. This prosaic scene opens the story, "Ulik Unchained", and Buscema's mastery of facial expressions tells the story perfectly for both the main characters and background patrons. This page was produced in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". Slight toning, production notes in margins, glue residue, and handling wear. Production tape in margins. Header at top is a stat paste-up. Chapter title, credits, and indicia separated and reattached with tape on the back. Signed and dated by Buscema and Sinnott in the upper left image area.
