    Description

John Buscema and Ernie Chan - Original Splash Page Art for Savage Sword of Conan #99, page 36 (Marvel, 1984). Sacking storehouses and treasure rooms and even the central military headquarters of the royal high command, Conan and his men cut a path across the land. John Buscema turns out another phenomenal Conan page, with four inset scenes, drawn in incredible detail, with Ernie Chan's indelible inks to finish things off. You get a great close-up of Conan's face, and taking up half of the page is a shot of a woman who is vowing to kill him. Not bad for one 10.5" x 15" image, drawn on a sheet of 11" x 17" bristol board. The art is extremely clean and well-kept, with some very slight pencil smudging at the edges.
