DescriptionJoe Simon and Jack Kirby Boys' Ranch #4 Clay Duncan Splash Page Original Art (Harvey, 1951). The bold crosshatching drawing style developed by Simon & Kirby during this era was one of the highlights of fifties comic books -- and this splash looks even more impressive in its "pure" uncolored black and white glory. This large portrait page of Boys' Ranch Old West marksman, Clay Duncan, has an image area of approximately 12" x 18", and it's drawn on board. Aside from some light overall aging and a mostly missing title logo stat (at the upper right), this cowboy classic is in Excellent condition. From the Joe Simon Estate.
