DescriptionJoe Kubert The Brave and the Bold #24 Viking Prince Splash Page 1 Original Art (DC, 1959). During the fifties, few artists could top Joe Kubert at drawing "sword and sandal" epics. Kubert's controlled, yet expressionistic, brush strokes create a palpable drama. "The Viking Prince" was editor/writer Robert Kanigher's answer to Hal Foster's comic strip classic, Prince Valiant, and Kubert's art was inspired. This Silver Age show-stopper for "Curse of the Dragon's Moon" has an image area of 13" x 18", aside from some scattered staining in the dragon's fins, and a missing lettering correction in the caption at the lower left, the art is in Very Good condition.
