    Jim Starlin, Steve Leialoha, Al Milgrom, and Michael Netzer Ghost Rider #35 Splash Page 1 Original Art (Marvel, 1979). You are not seeing double! This is the splash page for the story "Deathrace!", which likely began life as an unpublished story for issue #21, and was used as a fill-in issue for the current regular series team. As such they needed to make some changes to allow an opening scene "flashback" setup for the story. The original art on the left side is from a layout by Jim Starlin, with finished art by Steve Leialoha. On the right is a stat of that art, with alterations by Al Milgrom and Mike Netzer. The alterations include whiteout art corrections produced in ink, and Johnny Blaze's head cut out and a Ghost Rider flaming skull pasted-in from the backside. By this point in the series, the Ghost Rider no longer rode the Skull Cycle, and instead rode a chopper formed out of pure Hellfire itself. These two pages are created in ink over graphite on Bristol board (or Stat), with an image area of approximately 10" x 15" (including paste-up indicia and header). The pages are toned and matted together for an overall size of 27.5" x 20.5". In Very Good condition.
