Description

Jim Balent and John Stanisci Catwoman #59 Splash Page 22 Original Art (DC, 1998). While most cats are afraid of needles, Catwoman never shirks her shots! The final page of this issue delivers a shocking cliffhanger, as Selina Kyle confidently injects herself with a potent dose of Scarecrow's fear toxin in a bold attempt to confront and overcome her deepest fears. Though Selina is now widely recognized for her short-haired, pixie-cut look, it's always a treat to see her depicted with long, curly hair and the half-hood mask that defined her iconic '90s costume. This superb splash is crafted in ink and marker over graphite on DC Bristol board with an image area of 10.25" x 15.75". Presents with whiteout corrections and light handling wear. The "To Be Concluded!" stat from the lower right corner is loose but included with the piece. Signed and personalized by John Stanisci in the top left. In Excellent condition.
