    Description

Jack Kirby and Vince Colletta Superman's Pal, Jimmy Olsen #133 Splash Page 20 Original Art (DC, 1970). "Kirby is HERE!" proclaimed the cover header banner. Kirby was indeed at DC, and this landmark issue was the start of his bold new Fourth World series. This issue introduced a new Newsboy Legion, their Whiz Wagon, Morgan Edge, Intergang, and the Outsiders who lived in the Wild Area. Every issue of this four-pronged saga seemed to introduce more original characters and content. Kirby was just bursting with ideas. On this page, Superman is staggered by the perspective and just the concept of this huge complex city hidden, but nearby his Metropolis. Produced in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". The page is tanned with some minor handling and wear. There is whiteout correction and tape residue on the corners. Overall in Very Good condition.
