    Description

Jack Kirby and Mike Royer Mister Miracle #16 Chapter Three Splash Page 11 Original Art (DC, 1973). Shilo Norman is snared like a hapless fly in a web in this creepy-crawly assault by a deadly Insecto-Sapien in a true "King" Kirby chiller. The Super Escape Artist, Mr. Miracle, was one of Kirby's best-loved Bronze Age series, and collectors of Kirby artwork always make a bee-line for splashes of this inescapable grandeur. No one since Joe Sinnott made the "King" look as good as Mike Royer. His smooth, polished inks brought out every iota of energy in Jack's pencils, transforming these Fourth World scenarios into powerhouse pages, packed with pulse-pounding pandemonium. With an image area of 10" x 15", and in Excellent condition -- you don't need a Mother Box to predict that bidding on this lot is going to be stout.
