DescriptionJack Kirby and Frank Giacoia Captain America #199 Splash Page 1 Original Art (Marvel, 1976). Jack "King" Kirby drawing one of his most patriotic characters from the bi-centennial year 1976! This title page from the story "The Man Who Sold The United States" is just jam-packed with Kirby style. The King even signed in the image area just above Captain America's head. Produced in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15" (counting header text and indicia). Header, credits, and indicia are all paste-up text. The page has tanned, there is some glue residue and production oil stains, and the top edge has been trimmed down to the page border. Overall in Good condition.
