Description

Jack Kirby and Dick Ayers Strange Tales #103 Human Torch "Prisoner of the 5th Dimension" Title Page 1 Original Art (Marvel, 1962). Almost every Marvel fan will recognize this early story from the dawn of the Marvel Age -- either from its first printing or from a reprint. It was only the Human Torch's third solo adventure in Strange Tales -- and one ablaze with a raw energy that only Marvel's Jack "King" Kirby and "Darling" Dick Ayers could deliver. The Human Torch is pulled into another dimension where he assists in a revolution against a vicious dictator. This pencil and ink on Bristol Marvel milestone, featuring Johnny Storm in every magnificent panel, has an image area of 12.5" x 18.5", and it's in Excellent condition. Dick Ayers signed this art on the back of the page.
