    Description

Jack Kirby and D. Bruce Berry Kamandi #19 Double Splash Page 2-3 Original Art (DC, 1974). Jack Kirby produced original stories for Kamandi longer than any of the other DC titles he worked on during the early 1970s. A total of 40 issues with Kirby stories. Here, "The Last Boy of Earth" meets "The Last Gang in Chicago" on this two-page spread. The story allowed Kirby to return to his roots of noir gangster street criminals. Fans of his In The Days of the Mob, published just three years earlier, must have really eaten this story up! A massive piece of Kirby magic, crafted in ink over graphite on two sheets of Bristol board with a combined image area of 21" x 15". The toned boards have some production tape residue in the margins. In Very Good condition.
