Description
Jack Kirby and Chic Stone Strange Tales #127 "The Thing" Pin-Up Original Art (Marvel, 1964). That blue-eye idol o' millions (and founding member of the fabulous Fantastic Four), The Thing gets a great pin-up in this issue. Don't let his rocky hide make you take him for Granite... he's very Gneiss after all! These pin-up style pages are well-remembered by fans, and this one was used on several promotion items and images during the 1960s. Crafted twice-up scale in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 12.5" x 18.5" (including the stat paste-up header). There is some foxing and minor stains.
