Description
Jack Kirby and Chic Stone Amazing Adventures #2 Splash Page 1 Inhumans Original Art (Marvel, 1970). The opening page of the story "Friend Against Friend!" features iconic Kirby floating heads of Black Bolt, Medusa, Gorgon, and Karnak. These Inhumans stories were among the King's strongest work from the period, and this splash is pure Kirby magic! This page was not reprinted in the 1975 Inhumans #9 reprint. It was created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15" (including the stat paste-up of the indicia). There are some minor stains in the top portion of the lightly toned page. In Very Good condition. From the Glenn Danzig Collection.More information about Jack Kirby.
