    Description

Jack Kirby and Bill Everett Thor #172 Splash Page 1 Original Art (Marvel, 1970). The first page of the story "The Immortal and the Mind-Slave!" gives us our first glimpse of Dr. Jim North, and promises "The Return of Jane Foster!" The splash page was created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 14". The header at the top of the page is a paste-up stat. The indicia at the bottom of the page is missing, leaving glue residue in its place. The art board has been trimmed and affixed to another sheet of Marvel Bristol board, most likely at the time of creation. The toned page is in Very Good condition.
