DescriptionHoward Chaykin - Hulk Magazine #25, "Dominic Fortune" Splash Page 61 Original Art (Marvel, 1981). With the life of the British ambassador, Sir Reginald Fortesque, at stake, dashing soldier of fortune, Dominic Fortune, wastes no time with Lamar Canfield, a.k.a. the Silhouette, in this fast and furious page by Howard Chaykin. Taken from the story, "Slay Bells," written by Denny O'Neil, this page presents one of the first appearances of the Silhouette, a sly parody of the pulp adventure hero, the Shadow. The art, which has been hand-painted in mixed media, has an image area of 10.5" x 15". The type balloons and sound effects are inked on an overlayed sheet of vellum paper. Both are in Excellent condition.
