Description
Henry C. Kiefer Classics Illustrated #68 Julius Caesar Unused Splash Page Original Art (Gilberton, 1950). A pitched battle scene from this Classics Illustrated story version of the William Shakespeare epic. Numbered as Page 53, it was actually not used (the book only being 52 pages in total). Rendered twice-up scale in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 12.5" x 18.75". The toned page has some whiteout art corrections, and a missing caption box paste-up (leaving glue residue behind). It is signed by the artist in the lower image area. In Very Good condition.
