Henry C. Kiefer Classics Illustrated #47 Twenty Thousand Leagues Under The Sea Splash Page 39 Original Art (Gilberton, 1948). A beautifully detailed three-masted schooner quivering under impact from Jules Verne's highly influential, and most iconic tale, is brought to life by artist Kiefer on this splash page! Created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 12.75" x 18". Initialed by Kiefer in the lower left image area. There is production whiteout in several places, notable toning and smudging, and production residue in the margin and image. Overall in Good condition.
