Description

Greg Irons Tailor's Tale! Partial Splash Page Upper Tier (c. 1970s). Irons, one of the Underground Comix movement's principal horror artists, imagines a violent case of demonic possession. The publishing pedigree is undocumented, and this square-ish panel appears to have been removed from a taller vertical composition. The style is consistent with that of Irons' signature title of the 1970s, Skull. Ink over graphite on Bristol board. Image area, 9.5" x 9". Light toning and occasional smudging. Excellent condition. From the Eric Sack Collection.
