Description
Gil Kane Star Hawks Illustration Original Art (c. 1980). Rex and Chavez, the peace-keeping agents of the Interplanetary Law Service, charge ahead in their sworn mission to establish law and order throughout the Universe in this thrilling full-page illustration. The design of this piece is quite similar to the published cover of the Star Hawks II paperback, but it is unknown if or where this piece was published. Gil Kane received the National Cartoonist Society Story Comic Strip Award for 1977 for his work on this fan-favorite comic strip feature.
